Pre-approval training: We will invite you to attend pre approval training which will provide you with the skills and knowledge about fostering.
Stoke-on-Trent have over 1000 children in care and we need you. You could be approved within a short timescale.
Our fast track assessment process means prospective foster carers can be approved more quickly, while maintaining the same rigorous checks in place as before.
Suitability for fostering children remains the same – you need to have time and space in your life and, above all, the desire to make a difference to the lives of young people.
The only thing that has changed is the speed at which we are able to process certain applications. Fast track has been designed for people who have lots of time each week to dedicate to the assessment process.
Fast track assessments are about ensuring we assess you in a timely manner to ensure that we can match our children to families faster so that you can make a difference and keep our children in the City.
