Specialist Foster Carers Wanted – Family Pathways Programme

Stoke-on-Trent’s Family Pathways programme is seeking full-time foster carers to provide therapeutic, stable homes for young people with complex needs. This is a specialist role supporting teenagers who require high levels of care, consistency, and commitment.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting children or young people, particularly those with trauma or high-risk behaviours
- Availability to care full-time (24/7), including during times of crisis or transition
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work therapeutically and collaboratively with multi-agency teams
- Commitment to safeguarding and understanding of adolescent risks (e.g. exploitation, mental health, substance misuse)
- Willingness to engage in ongoing therapeutic training and reflective practice
- Resilience, flexibility, and a passion for placement stability
